JWT acquires Chinese gifting service Egift

WPP owned JTW has agreed the acquisition of Chinese gift specialist Shanghai Egift Design and Production.

The deal will see the company, which provides a loyalty programme for clients, including strategy, design, sourcing, prototyping and production through to distribution, works with clients such as Conde Naste, Johnson & Johnson and Novartis.

The company will continue to operate independently, through JWT’s activation, field and shopper marketing marketing operations within the country.

Last year, Egift delivered revenue of RMB 27m, and possessed gross assets worth RMB 25m.
