Publicis Conseil has appointed Valérie Henaff as CEO, succeeding Arthur Sadoun, who was promoted to CEO of Publicis Worldwide in October 2013.

Announcing the appointment, Sadoun said: "It is a great pleasure to announce that Valérie is stepping in as CEO of Publicis Conseil, the flagship agency of the network. Along with Maurice Lévy, we wanted this appointment first as an acknowledgement of the fantastic work she accomplished while general manager. It's also a strong signal that more than ever before, we want to make strategy the agency's top priority. In doing so, so we will be able to better accompany our clients through the many ongoing challenges facing them."

Henaff joined the Paris-based agency in 2006, and she has worked on clients such as Carrefour and Orange.

Henaff said: "This nomination fills me with immense happiness and pride. It's a responsibility that I take with great importance and I would like to address my sincerest thanks to Maurice Lévy and Arthur Sadoun for their trust in me. Publicis Conseil is without a doubt the largest agency, and for me, the most special as well. My goal is that it be recognized as the key reference for expertise, innovation and creativity."

Maurice Lévy, chairman and CEO of Publicis Groupe, said that Henaff will ‘propel the agency to even greater heights’.
