Trinity Mirror has launched an online classified ads service for its regional brands called Buysell.

Launch: The new service on the Manchester Evening News website

The publisher partnered with online classified providers Vivastreet to create the service, which offers categories such as properties, electricals, homewares, cars, events and pets. The service is responsive to desktop, tablet and mobile.

Tom Harte, digital commercial director, said: “We are delighted to partner with Vivastreet to further enhance our multimedia portfolio and allow us to maximise responses for our customers while also giving our readers and users the content they are looking for.

“Buysell will allow us to offer local individuals and businesses cost-effective digital trade and private classified advertising to accompany their print activity.”

The launch will be supported by a three-week print and digital marketing campaign.
