Continually generating great ideas is vital to the success of any creative communications agency business, but equally as important is then selling your great ideas and insights into your current clients and prospective clients at pitch time.

After a highly successful training course in January, The Drum Network is again running its one-day Creative Thinking & Pitch Skills training on Monday 24th March in London.

The morning workshop will focus on the creative thinking process and the creation of great ideas and will be hosted by leading creative thinking trainer Gordon Brown, the founder of Brain Juice Training. Gordon has been a professional marketer for some 25 years, many of those years spent working on the client side, and now he works with marketing services agencies and clients internationally to demonstrate how through his Brain Juice creative thinking system they can generate more high quality ideas and solutions to their client’s business and marketing challenges.

The afternoon session will then focus on how you can communicate and deliver your great ideas to current and potential clients with increased impact and improved clarity. This interactive workshop session will be delivered by trained theatre actress Tessa Morton, who approaches the often daunting prospect of speaking in public and presenting in pitches from that of a theatre performer. Her session will introduce you to and demonstrate many of the techniques that actors use to deliver high impact and memorable performances in order to take their audiences on a journey.

Feedback from attendees at the January workshop included:

“I’ve been attending training days for over 25 years and can honestly say this was the most useful I can recall. The informative yet relaxed presentations left me with plenty to think about and to implement and that is rare.”

“Very interesting, the practical work the speakers got us doing kept everyone interested and prevented a lull in the afternoon.”

“I thought it was a very relaxed day which challenged any preconceptions I may have had and certainly made me think about how we present our business and the part I play in that process.”

The training day will take place in Central London on Monday 24 March from 9am to 5pm and includes lunch for all delegates.
