BBC’s The Voice looks to re-engage lapsed viewers with Red Bee Media promo
BBC One has unveiled a promotional video for The Voice, created by Red Bee Media, with the aim of re-engaging lapsed viewers and to make the show appear different to main competitor X Factor.
Red Bee Media looked to create the 60 and 30-second formats in such a way that made audiences emotionally connect with the coaches.
Jo Wallace, BBC commissioning editor, said: “Red Bee really did us proud with the bespoke trail for this series of The Voice and they really captured the fun, fresh, yet slick feel we were going for. The trail introduced new coaches Kylie and Ricky perfectly alongside Sir Tom and Will and the concept really resonated with BBC One audiences. We are very pleased with how well received episode one has been.”
The launch film was created by group creative director, Andy Booth, and directed by Paul Gay, and features the tagline You Ain’t Heard Nothin’ Yet.
