The Drum Design 2014 awards open for entry

The Drum’s 2014 Design Awards are now open for entry with 20 categories including Brand Campaign and Broadcast Design all up for grabs.

Entries will be judged by a panel of industry experts including David Hillman of David Hillman Studio and D&AD’s most awarded designer; Simon Manchipp, executive creative director and co-founder of SomeOne; Stuart Radford, creative director at The Partners; Sam Stone of Identica and Hector Pottie, associate of Prophet.

Judging will be chaired by chief executive of the Design Council John Mathers.

The 2013 awards saw Why Not Associates scoop the Grand Prix for ‘The Comedy Carpet’ it designed for Blackpool Council with designer Gordon Young; while tbp! won the Chairman’s Award for its Mackinlays Shackleton Whisky packaging for Whyte & Mackay.

Entries will be open until 7 February, with entrants receiving the early bird discount before 19 December.
