Bauer Media UK has appointed Richard Dunmall as its new MD, advertising, to lead sales across Bauer’s portfolio of platform brands which include heat, Kiss, Grazia, Empire, Magic and Closer.

“The appointment of our new MD, advertising, is the next exciting development for our business as a market-leading multi-platform media owner,” said
Paul Keenan, CEO, Bauer Media UK. “This move strengthens our offering to advertisers wishing to access our 20 million UK consumers every week through increasingly sophisticated commercial solutions and partnerships. With one leader across all brands and teams, we will be able to offer even greater integrated solutions to our clients.”

Dunmall, who joins from Naked Communications where he served as Global CEO for less than a year, has been tasked with leading the 200+ strong team to deliver revenue across all channels.

Keenan added: “Richard will bring new skills, insight, leadership experience and a real passion for our business to ensure we are an entrepreneurial and effective commercial partner for our customers. He will extend our capabilities to deliver brilliant campaigns that truly address and answer the needs of our clients in the UK‘s dynamic media landscape.”

Dunmall begins his new role on 2 December.
