His role includes providing assistance to current partners and events in the area and attracting new tournaments to the tour.

“Oceania is a key market for the development of the PSA and we have no doubt that Kashif will play a major role in advancing our presence in the area,” said PSA CEO Alex Gough.

“We see this as another major addition to the PSA team.”

Shuja, winner of the 2011 South Australian and Swiss Opens, said; “I’m delighted to join the PSA and look forward to working closely with the team and all of the Oceanic federations to help expand and grow the sport in this area.

“Creating further opportunities for players to compete in top class events, and for fans to be exposed to the fantastic sport of squash, can only be beneficial for the sport moving forward and I am excited about playing a part in those developments.”

He joins European Representative Tim Garner and South East Asia Representative Ritwik Bhattacharya.
