Confused.com has premiered its new 10-second TV advert, featuring current campaign mascot Brian the Robot, on Instagram.

A 30-second version of the ad is set to hit TV screens on 6 October.

Part of the comparison site’s latest advertising campaign, created by Publicis London, it is being supported by radio, digital and PR, and further TV executions which will be aired this week.

Joby Russell, marketing director at Confused.com, explained that Confused.com decided to join the many brands that are already getting creative on the picture and video sharing.

“Instagram is a great place for us to engage with our customers, as many people will comment and like Instagram photos/ videos as well as share content, and this is an essential engagement tool for us as a brand,” he said.

“Instagram allows Brian to communicate with his customers in a unique way, and demonstrates to all how easy it is to save money on their car insurance by using Confused.com.”

In addition to the advert being premiered on Instagram, Confused.com is offering Instagrammers the chance to win the speakers shown in the advert by simply liking it.
