Tui Brewery recently worked with five fans to “surprise” one of their friends by plumbing his whole house with Tui Beer.

A team of the brewery’s best beer technicians, a plumber, 14 cameras, and a lot of Tui beer went into transforming the plumbing of an everyday house into a beer lover's dream as part of the branded content activity, devised by Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand.

“At the Tui Brewery, there’s always something brewing, and when we’re not making a quality drop our mission is to give the boys ingenious ways to get together for a few beers. Like all great plans, we’re stoked with how well it all came together and we couldn’t have asked for a better bunch of guys to bring it to life,” explained William Papesch, Tui marketing manager.

The seven-minute film gained nearly four million views in the first 48 hours following its YouTube debut.

As part of the brand’s wider marketing push, 90, 60 and 15-second edits have been used as TVCs as well as extensive social media support, billboards, POS, online and GWP promotions.
