Lack of livesteam causes grumbles from Apple and tech fans worldwide
Everyone was waiting with baited breath for the Apple announcements being made today – including the launch of the iPhone 5c – but unfortunately, only the sanctioned few could watch the event. Unlike Facebook and other brands, Apple did not create a livestream of the event, and several sites claiming to be streaming the event just had their own reporters discuss what was being said: very much an audible blog. You can check out what happened at the launch on The Drum.
Anyone got a link to the Apple event live stream coverage? I cannot seem to find a link anywhere! #Apple
— Georgie Sweeney (@GeorgieSweeney) September 10, 2013God dammit Apple why would you not livestream this event >:(
— Dave Gibney (@UndeniablyDave) September 10, 2013Seriously?! No live stream Apple?#youreatechcompany
— Nathan Freeland (@nathanfreeland) September 10, 2013It is 2013 isn't it? Surely Apple could live stream this event to save us from this CNET coverage weirdness
— Mark Smout (@MarkSmout) September 10, 2013Following along with this announcement would be far easier if Apple were just to live stream the event.
— James Ribar (@jribar) September 10, 2013No iOS7 live stream today. This equates to #FirstWorldProblems #Apple #iOS7
— Douglas Pollei (@dougpollei) September 10, 2013Really poor of Apple to not live stream their event. Big letdown. Can't they afford it?
