Viral Video Chart: Werner Herzog documentary on dangers of texting while driving takes top spot

A short film by Werner Herzog on the dangers of texting while driving for the US mobile network AT&T has topped this week's Viral Video Chart for brands.

The legendary filmmaker's hard-hitting documentary, 'It can wait', starkly illustrates the consequences of motorists taking their eyes off the road, even for just a moment, to check their text messages.

It has been viewed more than 1.5m times and tops the viral chart with 35,000 social media shares.

Elsewhere on the chart there are new entries from Nike, Oakley and perennial viral favourite Honda.

The charts are compiled with the Viral Ad Network and are based on the number of shares each video has received on social media over the last seven days.
