Music streaming service Deezer has announced a strategic partnership with Clash.

As part of the partnership, Clash have created a ‘Clash in – app’ for Deezer, which will include album reviews, a section dedicated to new artists and playlists.

Simon Harper, editor-in-chief of Clash Music Group, said: "Deezer has demonstrated a shared appetite for delivering a music-first, quality-driven service and we are delighted to be introducing our eclectic and considered tastes to their audience. Alongside the launch of our iPhone app earlier this year, this partnership also signifies a concerted effort to embrace new digital platforms that we hope will keep the Clash brand thriving for many years to come."

Deezer widgets will be placed on Clash online, to allow users to listen to albums while reading reviews.

Mark Foster, MD of Deezer UK, said: “Clash Magazine have always been at the forefront of the UK’s fashion and music scene. It is a privilege to be partnering with both the magazine and their impressive website, Clash online, which emphasises our commitment to strong editorial. We look forward to continuing our journey, with partners who share our view on helping music fans discover new talent, and artists to reach out to new fans.”
