Facebook claims daily active UK users now number 24m Facebook has released its latest batch of UK-specific user data, including a breakdown of daily and monthly active users for the first time.
They show that the social networking site engages with 24m Britons daily whilst 33m unique individuals log in every month.
Cognisant of the shift toward mobile Facebook has also published a tally of mobile user numbers, reaching 26m MAU Mobile and 20m DAU Mobile respectively.
In a statement Facebook said: “We believe that understanding who comes back at least once a month is only part of the picture. Instead, businesses should focus on people who come back online every single day, because that is how they live their lives.
“People are online numerous times in a single day and are constantly connected; creating, sharing and engaging with the content that matters to them. For advertisers, this will help them create campaigns that can reach the right people at the right time on both desktop and mobile.”
