Home and Away launches online web exclusive content
Seven Network and Yahoo7 have collaborated to launch online exclusive trailer content for forthcoming episodes of Home and Away.
Home and Away Extras debuts online on Wednesday
The intention of the online content is to engage the online audience by revealing character back story details and promoting future storylines before they are broadcast.
New characters the Barrett brothers will be introduced online before they appear on air.
The online series will be entitled Home and Away Extras.
“We wanted to provide fans with new ways to engage with one of Australia’s longest-running and most-loved television brands,” said Lucy Addario, series producer.
“We’re going to reveal dramatic details of the characters’ back-stories before they are introduced as a major storyline.”
