Microsoft is set to change the name of its cloud storage service, Skydrive, following a legal challenge from BSkyB.

In June, the High Court ruled that the name of the product caused ‘confusion’ among the public.

In a joint statement, Microsoft and BskyB said: "The settlement of this case reflects the desire of both companies to focus on joint projects to benefit their customers."

Microsoft is set to change the name following a transition period.
