Handsome Brands opens Toronto office as it looks to expand North American offering

Handsome Brands, the London-based branding and design agency, has opened an office in Toronto as it looks to expand into the North America market.

The new team is led by account director Kristin Germain and is overseen by the agency’s creative director and founder, Ian Haughton.

Explaining the move, Germain said: “We believe there exists an opportunity for a specialist branding agency that focuses on the craft of identity design to thrive in Toronto.

She added: "From our initial conversations and research, we believe our specific dedication to branding will allow us to exist well in a market where much branding activity seems to be more of a ‘bolt-on’ to wider creative agency offerings. A method, we believe, which leads to a short-termist, campaign-driven approach which lacks the timelessness of great brand identities.”

Handsome UK has worked with the likes of Greene King and The Body Shop.
