Speedo International appoints iCrossing for SEO and SEM strategy

Speedo International has appointed digital marketing agency iCrossing to handle its global SEO and SEM strategic framework.

iCrossing will produce a global governance framework that can be implemented around the world to ensure consistency.

Mark Iremonger, chief strategy officer at iCrossing UK, said: "Search is an intrinsic part of the customer experience and we are delighted to work with Speedo International to maximise effectiveness and minimise risk within search. Speedo is such an iconic brand it has every right to expect to dominate the search landscape across the globe, we will help them achieve this."

The agency will work closely with the brand's global marketing teams, coordinating all marketing activity across the territories from their UK offices.

Johan Enstrom, global digital and media marketing manager at Speedo, said: "We worked with iCrossing on a successful ecommerce campaign during July and August 2012 and were impressed with their expertise and dedication to help us deliver communications that appealed to our audience. We are looking forward to working with them on this new project.”

iCrossing will support the strategy both on and offline.
