Clare Balding set to present own sports chat show on BT Sport
Clare Balding is set to present her own weekly chat show on BT Sport working alongside production company Boomerang.
The weekly sports magazine programme will see the former BBC presenter handle interviews with sports stars, including anecdotes from family and friends, tributes from their peers and social media messages as well.
The major sports news of the week will also be discussed, while reports will focus on diverse sports internationally.
Simon Green, head of BT Sport, said: “We are very excited to be co-producing the new Clare Balding show on BT Sport. Working closely with Clare, we want to shine a spotlight on a variety of different sports and really give the viewers the inside track on their sporting heroes.”
30 live epsiodes a year, split across three blocks of 10, will be produced.
The programme is schedule to begin on BT Sport on 8 August, and recorded in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford in front of a studio audience.
