Google reportedly developing games console and wristwatch in race with competitors
Google is reportedly developing a videogames console and wristwatch powered by Android in a bid to beat any similar devices Apple and Samsung may have in the pipeline.
Reports: The WSJ says Google is developing more wearable technology
Sources close to the Wall Street Journal detailed the plans and claimed Google also had plans to release a second version of its streaming device, called Nexus Q. Release of the devices could be begin as quickly as this autumn.
The WSJ reported that the Google watch was expected to use bluetooth technology to connect to a user's smartphone as the tech giant ventured further into the emerging market of wearable devices, building upon the creation of Google Glass. The watch will reportedly be ready for release next year.
