Omnicom Media strikes deal with Salesforce Marketing Cloud to use its products across global network

Omnicom Media Group has announced that it will roll out Salesforce Marketing Cloud across its global network making it the core of its social marketing offerings.

Leveraging Salesforce’s social technology products - social listening with Salesforce Radian6, publishing with Salesforce Buddy Media and advertising with Salesforce Social.com – Annalect, a division of Omnicom Media Group, will build campaign-informing tools for Omnicom’s 5,000 global clients.

Additionally, Omnicom and Salesforce will build social media command centers to display the technologies in key Omnicom agency hubs in London, San Francisco, Chicago and New York.

“Omnicom Media Group and salesforce.com share a common vision of helping our customers build connections in new ways via cloud, social and mobile technologies,” said Scott Hagedorn, CEO, Annalect.

“Our ambition is to build towards a completed integrated marketing workflow grounded in social.”

Also commenting on the deal, which was officially announced at Radio City Music Hall in New York today, was Michael Lazerow, CMO, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, who said: “This new agreement between Omnicom Media Group and Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a win for our mutual and future customers.”
