Tate Liverpool has teamed up with taxi specialists Ubiquitous to arrange a fleet of branded taxis to promote a major new exhibition by Russian artist Marc Chagall, his first in the UK for over 15 years.

Taxi: The exhibition begins this month

The campaign was booked through Total Media and Posterscope and depicts one of Chagall's most iconic paintings, I and the Village, and the artwork appears on both the interior and exterior of the taxis.

Marketing manager at Tate Liverpool, Jennifer Collingwood, said: "Our Chagall exhibition is the first of its kind in the UK and we wanted to mark this exciting moment with a captivating marketing campaign.

"Using taxi advertising to attract a broad audience from across the city enables us to ensure that Tate Liverpool captures the attention of both regular gallery attendees and those visiting Liverpool to experience the city's vibrant arts and culture scene."

The Chagall: Modern Master exhibition coincides with Tate Liverpool's 25th birthday year.
