Mothers in the US are 244 per cent more likely to own a Galaxy Exhibit than the average consumers, data from the Jumptap network of over 182 million US consumers has found.

The research found that this group is 13 per cent more likely than the average consumer to own a tablet and now represent 27 per cent of all tablet users in the US.

Matt Duffy, VP of marketing at Jumptap, said: “Tablet usage is most common in the home, which supports stay-at-home Moms’ heavier usage of the device. As the May MobileSTAT proves, Moms tend to be heavy tablet users overall, which is why Jumptap encourages its advertisers to incorporate a cross-device strategy when trying to reach the demographic.”

It was also discovered that mothers are more likely to use their smartphone at the weekend, with Thursday and Friday being the day this audience is least likely to be on their device.
