Clemenger BBDO Sydney has launched a new TV spot featuring ‘Toy Story’ favourite and venerable child’s toy stalwart Mr Potato Head for client Smith crisps.

The spot features an animated Potato Head in live action settings.

"We're extremely excited by the launch of Smith's Popped potato snacks. The product itself is something quite unique, both in taste and texture as is the advertising campaign that Clemenger have created,” said Jenni Dill, Smith's marketing director.

The campaign runs nationally, promoted via a Facebook app encouraging interactivity.

Paul Nagy, executive creative director at Clemenger BBDO Sydney said it was a treat to work with Mr Potato Head.

“A genuine professional and a lovely guy to boot. He really does love these new chips...I couldn't watch him eat them on set though. Way too weird."
