Che Proximity Melbourne wins the World Cup

CHE Proximity Melbourne has won the tender for the lucrative and high profile 2015 Cricket World Cup.

The company will handle the marketing and media account for the contest to be held in Australia and New Zealand. The agency completed a successful reorganisation last year.

The value of the account has not been disclosed, and no comment has been made by the agency at the time of publication.

GPY&R and Ogilvy also both pitched for the account, but lost out.

In the same tender process, Clemenger Wellington has been announced as the company handling the NZ end of the campaign.
