South Australia has debuted its crowd sourced #CaptureMadMarch film, made by volunteer contributors who aimed collectively to convey the essence of the state capital’s internationally renowned festival season.

The film debuted on Youtube on Tuesday.

“How do you explain the concept of Mad March in Adelaide to someone who has never experienced it before?” the state said announcing the video.

“To capture the madness of March, passionate local festival goers snapped 10 second videos of their Mad March experiences, which have been turned into this film. A film that captures all of the eclectic, diverse, fun and fantastic action from a month long festival that doesn't sleep.”

The Adelaide Fringe, the second largest arts festival in the world, runs in March alongside the Clipsal500 supercar race on the city’s street circuit, the Adelaide Festival and WOMADelaide.
