Ex-Trinity Mirror chief Sly Bailey announces boardroom appointment at Greencore
Sly Bailey, previously Trinity Mirror chief executive, has announced her appointment as non-executive director of a food firm.
Bailey will now hold the director role at Irish ready-meals firm Greencore, adding to her holding the same role at Ladbrokes.
Gary Kennedy, chairman of Greencore, said: “Sly will bring deep operating knowledge, wide public company board experience and an energy and insight to our agenda. Her appointment, together with the additions of John Moloney, Heather Ann McSharry and John Warren announced earlier this year, completes the reorganisation of the board. We now have a strong, experienced, balanced board to complement and challenge the executive team.”
Bailey will take up the role from today.
