Youthlaw Online, the digital arm of the Young People's Legal Rights Centre Inc was hailed as a “great example of innovative service” by Victoria’s Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus QC.

“Youthlaw Online is a great example of innovative service delivery methods that provide important support to some of the most vulnerable people in our society," he said.

"Australians are entitled to a fair go under the law and Youthlaw plays an invaluable role in the delivery of legal assistance services to young people in the community.

"The services provided by Youthlaw help young people gain a practical understanding of how the law affects their lives, and address legal issues before they become more serious problems.

"The Government is committed to improving access to justice for all Australians, and our total nation-wide contribution to legal assistance services over the next four years will be $1.35 billion."

The programme facilitates free online face-to-face access for young people to assistance and information about legal issues.
