McCann Erickson wins place on Carlsberg advertising roster

McCann Erickson has won a place on the Carlsberg Group advertising roster, it was announced on Tuesday.

Appointment: McCann Erickson will work with Carlsberg

The agency will handle advertising briefs for Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Gustavo Martinez, McCann Erickson president Europe and Asia Pacific, said:"McCann Erickson is proud to be able to work with such an iconic brand as Carlsberg. We look forward to helping them grow their business and brand."

Diana Starbanov, Carlsberg global category manager, marketing, added: "We are thrilled to have McCann Erickson on our global roster. They demonstrated great expertise in managing and building brands, locally, regionally and globally."

Carlsberg announced in February that it had awarded its global advertising account to Argentinian-based agency Santo.
