Julia Peters joins Screen Australia
Screen Australia has announced it has a new Investment/Development Manager for Documentary.
Peters' background is in reality and factual
Julia Peters joined the production investment team on 1 May.
Screen Australia’s Documentary Manager, Liz Stevens, said, “I am delighted that Julia will be joining the Screen Australia team. Her extensive and diverse experience in programming will be a valuable asset to both staff and industry.”
In a statement on its website, Screen Australia said: “Julia has over 25 years’ experience in screen development and production and has worked with all the Australian free-to-air networks on an array of projects across documentary, reality, factual and entertainment.
“She comes to Screen Australia from Essential Media and Entertainment where she was an executive producer and creative lead on many projects. Julia’s recent production credits include Raising the Curtain and Do or Die. She has also lectured on Creative Development at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School.”
