NSW production company XRay Doll has announced it has enrolled “Australia's most influential adult performer”, Miss Phoenix Knight to perform in its Shards of Glitter exhibition in Sydney later this month.

Xray Doll has enlisted Miss Phoenix Knight

Miss Phoenix Knights will give a one night only live performance on Thursday 23rd May as part of the Head On Photo Festival. The “shocking” performance has been described as “a debased carnival or temptation with a fusion of amazing colour scapes, fantastical worlds and confronting locations.”

"We knew that we needed to create something that was extraordinary for the Head On Festival. We wanted to showcase our teams talents for viewing beauty from ugliness, of creating glitter from the dark," said Chrissie Hall, director of XRay Doll.

"We are thrilled that people have been telling us they can't wait to see our exhibition. We are so proud of the images that we have created, and working with Miss Phoenix Knight, Australia's most influential adult performer, was a dream.

“She is a beautiful woman - yet is a risk taker. She appreciated what we were trying to achieve and managed to incorporate her own unique version of dangerous innocence."

The exhibition is said to carry influences from Toshio Saeki, David LaChapelle and Stanly Kubrick, and pledges to “transport people into a dark world of glitter and surrealism.”

XRay Doll director Wassim Bazzi said: “We created an experience for the viewer. We have presented a debased carnival or temptation with a fusion of amazing colour scapes, fantastical worlds and confronting locations, all tied uniquely together with the shocking visuals of Miss Knight."
