It has been suggested that Nike is set to remove a T-shirt emblazoned with ‘Boston Massacre’ from its stores.

According to ESPN's Darren Rovell, who tweeted the news, Nike has begun to pull the item of clothing, which is in no way related to the bombing at the Boston Marathon.

The T-shirt actually refers to the rivalry between the Yankees and Red Sox. It commemorates when the Yankees travelled to Fenway Park for a four-game series in 1978, where the Yankees won all four games by an average margin of eight runs.
