Simon Broadbent takes up role at USP Creative as creative director as five-year growth plan gets underway

Multiple D&AD award-winner Simon Broadbent has been appointed creative director at USP Creative as the company pursues ambitious plans for growth over the next five years.

New role: Broadbent has previously worked at TBWA

The north-west based company also appointed Talitha Palmer Roberts - previously senior account manager at the Fresh Group - to the role of client service manager.

Jan Peters, managing director, said: "Simon's appointment marks the start of a hugely exciting time for USP Creative as we look to grow the company to service our growing client base. We are looking forward to watching our creative team develop under Simon's guidance and continue to offer and expand upon our reputation for delivering outstanding creativity."

As well as being a D&AD award-winner, Broadbent has also served as a judge on the panel and throughout his career has worked with clients such as Matalan, Next and The Co-operative. He spent more than 11 years as creative director at Connectpoint and has also worked at TBWA.

"There is so much opportunity for the company to grow and the potential within the creative team is enormous," Broadbent added. "I'm looking forward to USP fulfilling its potential."
