Spooky Edinburgh tourist attraction The Real Mary King’s Close is expected to launch a marketing campaign in the coming months to target tourists coming to the city.

The campaign is to be produced by Heehaw Digital, which will promote the attraction, now in it’s tenth year, based in Edinburgh’s Old Town.

Craig Miller, general manager at The Real Mary King's Close, explained: "This year marks our tenth anniversary as a visitor attraction so we were looking for an agency that could take our marketing campaign in a new direction. In the end it was Heehaw's innovative approach that won it for us, added to this, it's exciting to be working with a local company."

Mally Graveson, director of client services - Heehaw Digital, added: “In 2012 our video productions department worked closely with The Real Mary King’s Close to create their new online video and we were delighted to be asked to pitch for the overall 2013 Campaign. It’s brilliant to be working with such a famous Edinburgh Visitor attraction and there are more exciting video projects lined up too! We cannot wait.”

The underground attraction brings in over 185,000 visitors each year, having opened in April 2003.
