John Lewis and Waitrose are set to launch a competitive pitch to appoint an agency to support its CRM Strategies.

The company is aiming to find an agency which can support its myWaitrose and myJohn Lewis reward schemes that were established in 2011 and 2012 respectively.

The AAR will work alongside the John Lewis Partnership Services procurement team to draw up a shortlist, which is expected to include incumbent Kitcatt Nohr Digitas.

Craig Inglis, marketing director at John Lewis, explained that the company had “ambitious plans” for its CRM which would see it personalise the service for customers.

“We feel that now is the right time to review the market and ensure we have the right support in place to deliver our strategy,” he added.

John Lewis has also said that no other agency relationships will be affected by the review.
