Topps Tiles, the tile and flooring retailer, has revealed it will be the new sponsor of ITV Daybreak's national weather forecast programme.

Topps Tiles has sponsored Daybreak’s regional weather since April 2012, however it will now roll out twelve brand new national idents starting this month.

The idents will focus on the daily activities of a regular family in their period semi-detached home, showing various tiles styles and wood flooring products from Topps Tiles’ popular ranges.

The 10-second adverts will be repeated five times a day from Monday to Friday across the programmes five weather slots from 6.30 to 8.30am.

Beth Boulton, head of marketing at Topps Tiles, commented on the sponsorship deal: “Despite the challenges facing the retail market, we had a good 2012. We are looking forward to working with Daybreak to further promote Topps Tiles’ unique offering of outstanding product range, affordability, industry leading customer service and locational convenience.”
