CIPR PRide Awards North West 2012 winners announced - Greater Manchester Police comms chief named Outstanding Communicator
The CIPR North West PRide Awards this year saw Greater Manchester Police’s corporate communications director Amanda Coleman named Outstanding Communications Professional of the Year.
The awards, held at the Monastery in Manchester last night (November 29) also saw Stockport Council take home three gold prizes, including Outstanding in-house Public Relations Team, while Pelican PR won three golds and one silver prizes.
Brazen was named as the Outstanding Public Relations Consultancy, picking up three prizes, and Emma Cameron, from Havas PR was awarded Outstanding Young Communicator.
IAS b2b picked up four gold awards on the evening, including one for best event for its music festival IAStival, following up its win at the UK Event Awards last week, while Best Freelance Practitioner was handed to Hilary Berg.
