Amazon introduces LOVEFiLM on Kindle Fire

Online retailer Amazon will today launch its film rental service on its Kindle Fire HD and Kindle Fire platforms with a suite of popular titles including; Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Karate Kid and Gnomeo and Juliet, with members able to enjoy new features such as the Watch List, X-Ray for Movies and Whispersync.

A one month free trial is being offered to people wishing to give the service a whirl with functionality including the ability to create an unlimited streaming playlist and interact with titles via on touch access to the Internet Movie Database.

The retailer has also introduced Whispersync technology, a pause and resume function which allows subscribers to pick up a film from where they last left off on any device.
