Following the success of a trial starring Marc Jacobs new fragrance, Dot, out-of-home media provider Limited Space is launching its new advertising platform, Suspended Media, in shopping centres across the UK including Bluewater, the Birmingham Bullring and Meadowhall, Sheffield.

Suspended Media allows for advertisers to now hang giant 3D models in central atriums of UK shopping centres to create more impact than traditional display posters.

The concept was tested with a giant reproduction of the Marc Jacobs Dot bottle created with pin point precision detailing by designer Stewart Henry. The 200kg bottle stood at three metres tall and one and a half metres wide.

As the platform becomes available to all brands in the run up to Christmas, Romain Greze, sales director at Limited Space, commented: “Our new Suspended Media offering provides a platform for brands to showcase their products and achieve dramatic exposure in a way that is just not possible via any other channels.

“The reproduction of these pieces really is exceptional and they bring not only a huge audience but unparalleled stature to a brand in an environment where everyone wants to be at the forefront of shopper’s minds.”
