BBC has denied rumours that the ‘light news’ section of BBC Breakfast will move back to London.
It has been claimed that the show has been struggling to attract high profile guests following its move to Salford.
A BBC spokesperson said there are ‘no plans’ to move any part of the show.
The move from London to Salford was part of plans by BBC to become less London-centric and to appeal to the UK as a whole.

What a surprise - was always going to be a problem. Movers & shakers are London based, and are unlikkely to 'nip-up' to Salford for a 5 minute piece to camera. Badly thought out?
