Nick Clegg gives The Poke permission to release autotune apology song for charity

Nick Clegg has given satirical site The Poke permission to use the autotune version of his apology over reneging his pledge to oppose an increase in student tuition fees as a charity song.

The Poke asked to be able to release the apology song for charity on iTunes, with Clegg then replying on Twitter ‘Permission granted, but all proceeds to @SheffChildrens please.’

Suggestions had been made on The Poke site that money made from the sale of the song should go to help students pay the fee rise.
