Former Yahoo! director Matt White joins Quantcast

Advertiser and publisher audience measurement tool Quantcast, has appointed former Yahoo! director Matt White as director of agency sales.

White joins the company from Yahoo! where he was previously Group Director responsible for all display and search business with WPP agencies. Prior to that, White was head of mobile sales for Channel 4.

The creation of White’s new role at Quantcast is aimed at providing increased focus, partnership and strategic consultation to media agencies as they adapt to the rapidly changing advertising technology landscape.

White said: “In the crowded and complex advertising technology marketplace, Quantcast consistently proves that it can deliver on performance. ‘One to watch’ since it entered the UK market last year, I jumped at the chance to join the team when the right position came up.”

Phil Macauley, managing director at Quantcast UK, commented: “A major part of our offering focuses on technology. However, this needs to be reinforced with the right people to ensure customers gain the knowledge they need to benefit fully from the rapidly changing advertising sector. Matt is ideal for that role.”

In addition to White’s appointment, Quantcast has further strengthened its agency offering with the promotion of Andrew Double to head of agency strategy.
