IgnitionOne has announced it has opened a Brazilian office, based in Sao Paulo with IgnitionOne global CEO, Will Margiloff appointing Edmardo Galli as the managing director.

Galli is best known in marketing circles for successfully launching the 10’ Interactive (10’ Minutos) in 1996, one of the first digital agencies in the Brazilian marketplace. After building the agency, Galli sold it to Ogilvy & Mather and the shop became Ogilvy Interactive in Brazil.

With rapid growth in the Brazilian marketplace over recent years, Margiloff felt it was right time to launch a Brazilian operation as the market has reached a pivotal point in its history commenting, “As digital marketing is blossoming in Brazil, there is a real opportunity to bypass the challenges to integration and simplification facing the U.S. and Europe.

“Brazil is a true hotbed of creativity and innovation, which makes expanding our presence there such an amazing fit.”

“We’ve reached a level of maturity in this market where brands and agencies are starting to look seriously at optimisation of media spending. An integrated solution like the IgnitionOne Digital Marketing Suite perfectly meets the new demands of Brazilian market,” said Galli “The market is at a turning point and there is an opportunity to innovate within digital marketing and IgnitionOne will be an important player in this process.”

IgnitionOne’s Brazilian operations are already open for business with a base of large clients.
