Global digital marketing agency 7thingsmedia is continuing to bolster its growing team with the appointment of its first search and business director, Samanatha Hart.

Bishop is continuing to build his agency 7thingsmedia

Hart has more than a decade’s experience in the digital marketing arena working both clientside with Easyjet, Teletext and Air New Zealand and also previously holding global agencyside roles with Omnicom’s PHD and GroupM agency Mindshare.

Within her agency roles Hart led the global activity for the likes of Sainsbury’s, LG and SAP to manage both the on-going performance, but also new strategic and technological opportunities to ensure the dynamic campaigns deliver absolute revenue and profitability.

Reporting to 7thingsmedia’s performance director, David McDermott; Hart will be responsible for the international development of the PPC and SEO channels whilst leading wider best practice within the agency.

Commenting on her new role, Hart said: “7thingsmedia are an extremely well placed agency to take integrated digital solutions to the market place. Their existing client base is already benefitting from the drive and talent that has proven itself and won the awards – it is this look mum no hands, innovative and fresh approach that attracted me to 7thingsmedia and I look forward to taking the business further within the search arena for our existing clients and of course the new clients that will be joining the already desirable client base.”

Chris Bishop, founder and managing director of 7thingsmedia, said: “Samantha’s experience speaks for itself and she has a track record of operating at the highest level both agency and client-side. She joins the agency at a continued point of considerable expansion and I am delighted to have her spearheading our search growth.”

7thingsmedia was launched by former head of digital at Hotel Choclat and House of Fraser Chris Bishop in 2009 and the agency manages digital marketing campaigns for clients such as Agent Provocateur, boohoo.com, Liberty of London, UNICEF, USC and Ted Baker from its growing offices in London and New York.
