Yippee! Entertainment has unveiled its Chimpact game for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, distributed by Macclesfield based publisher Chillingo.
The game features a chimp called Chuck who is catapulted around the jungle in a search for bananas and hidden treasures.
Lorraine Starr, commercial director at Yippee! Entertainment, said: “We are so proud of the game and hope it is something that the public will really enjoy. It’s been great to keep everything local too – the team are all Manchester and Salford based and our publisher, Chillingo, is just down the road in Macclesfield.”
Yippee! Entertainment has produced an image of a full scale take-over of Media City by Chuck and his friends to help celebrate the launch.
