Discussing what she believes will be important factors for the marketing creative industry next year, as part of the Empty13 discussion, Nicola Mendelsohn, executive chairman of Karmarama and president of the IPA, explains that the membership body will continue to work with developing bodies to encourage inward investment into the UK.

She also highlights the importance of maintaining the positivity developed during the activities within the UK, such as the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the London 2012 Olympics, and taking them forward into next year.

“We saw for the first time, the coming together of different creative industries to put on the most extraordinary Games, the most extraordinary concerts and the most extraordinary Jubilee. We are better when we come together, we’re better when we’re optimistic and we’ve better when we celebrate,” she says.

Mendelsohn also offers some insight as to what can be expected from the IPA in the coming year as well.
