In order to keep on top of Team GB’s best day yet at the Olympics the London Evening Standard has brought out four special editions today.

Presses were stopped within minutes of Helen Glover and Heather Stanning winning Gold, as full edition pages with pictures of the golden pair were published.

Another special late edition was at the printers within minutes of Bradley Wiggins winning Britain’s second Gold in the men’s cycling time trail.

More than 700,000 copies of today’s Standard were distributed all over London, including tens of thousands to fans heading to the Olympic Park at Stratford. There were changes made to pages 120 times over the course of the day with some pages, notably page 1, changed with every edition to keep up to date with the latest action.
