New owner of Loaded Magazines reveals plans for Loaded TV

The new owner of Loaded Magazines has unveiled the first details of his multi-million pound investment in the magazines forthcoming digital TV platform. Entrepreneur Paul Chaplin, who acquired both Loaded and Superbike magazines earlier in the year, previously owned adult production company Bluebird films.

Chaplin who amassed a large personal fortune in the legal profession is in the process of refitting a 38,000-sqaure foot studio, which is already equipped for live TV and film production, in the Home Counties to be used as the new headquarters of the venture which is set to launch later in the year.

Projects currently in pre-production include a satirical games show, a Saturday night party show and a range of chat, comedy, quiz shows which will compliment both Loaded and sister publication, Superbike. It is understood that Loaded TV will initially broadcast for three hours per day via the Sky platform as well as streaming content online.

Chaplin commented: “This represents a serious commitment to creating high quality content that’s both original and fun. Loaded TV will feature must-see shows that will set the agenda for the 18-30 age group.”
