The National Library of Scotland has unveiled a campaign to promote its Going to the Pictures: Scotland at the Cinema exhibition, created by Frame.

How Scotland has been documented in the movies and how Scotland and Scots have impacted movies throughout the world, as well as what is happening in current films, is the subject of the exhibition.

The campaign, which includes regional press and outdoor activity, begins late June and will run until the exhibition ends in October.

Emily Young, communications officer at NLS said: “We are delighted to be working with Frame to promote our Scottish Cinema exhibition. They have demonstrated a clear understanding of the theme of the exhibition, focusing on Scotland’s relationship with the movies and have developed exciting creative ideas, including a strong brand identity, which we feel will have real impact.”
