Freedom from Torture has unveiled a video, created by design agency The Team, to thank its supporters.

The campaign, launching in time for the UN International Day in Support of Victims of Torture, features staff, volunteers and survivors of torture applauding to show their thanks.

Charlie Keep, head of individual giving at Freedom from Torture, said: “Freedom from Torture's supporters make the unique, specialist and vital work of Freedom from Torture possible – they fund centres across the UK, ensuring that survivors of torture can access a range of services from therapy and counselling to support with housing. We are impartial and independent from government. This means our supporters are even more important as we rely on donations from individuals for almost three quarters of our funding. Until the charity is able to be there for every survivor of torture who needs us, we will continue to need this wonderful support.

“Our supporters transform lives and help people who have seen the worst in human nature to have their faith in humanity restored. All of us - staff, volunteers and clients - wanted to say a heartfelt thank you.”
